AAFES RECALL  NO. 10-041 RELEASE DATE: 18 June, 2010 SUBJECT: QA HAZARDOUS RECALL – CAMPBELLS RECALLS CERTAIN LOTS OF SPAGHETTI O'S W/MEATBALLS DUE TO POSSIBLE UNDERPROCESSING SCOPE: WORLDWIDE In cooperation with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), the Campbell Soup Supply Company, LLC, of Paris, Texas, is recalling approximately 15,000,000 pounds of "Spaghetti O’s with Meatballs" canned products due to possible under-processing. ISSUE: The contents on specific lot codes are underprocessed. PRODUCT INFORMATION: SPAGHETTI O'S W/MEATBALLS 14.75Z UPC # 051000025265 14.75-ounce cans of "Spaghetti O’s with Meatballs, bearing the identifying product code "U5" on the bottom of the can. (AAFES Only Sold this item) 14.75-ounce cans of "Spaghetti O’s A to Z with Meatballs, bearing the identifying product code "4N" on the bottom of the can. 14.75-ounce cans of "Spaghetti O’s Fun Shapes with Meatballs (Cars), bearing the identifying product code "KS" on the bottom of the can. The products subject to recall bear the establishment number "EST 4K," as well as a "Use By" date between June 2010 and December 2011 ink-jetted on the bottom of each can. These products were manufactured between December 2008 and June 2010 and distributed to retail establishments nationwide. SOLD AT: The product was distributed nationwide through supermarkets, convenience stores, military commissaries and AAFES Exchanges. REMEDY/CONSUMER INFO: Do not consume the affected product and contact Campbell's Hotline at: (866) 495-3774. Affected products may also be returned to your local Exchange for a full refund.
